Welcome to Carter's Mill Farm, Pottery, Woodworking, Fiber Arts, Photography, Sculpture, Timberframe Test ground, flood watch station and Chicken Resort... etc..  This site marks the beginning of a new chapter in the life of the original Oatlands Mill site. We (Sean and Diane) are committed to making our new endeavor an asset to the organic/sustainable farming movement, artistic pursuits, and a resort for poor little chickens who don't want to live on battery coop farms. This is a living experiment and life long dream for us and we hope you will follow along as we journey down this new and exciting path.

First Project before we get anything else done, is to close on the Mill.... then the electrical work.. yuck!  that needs work! Then it's setting up protection for the chickens from overhead... there is an Eagle in the neighborhood. They won't like that.
